Field Marketing Manager (Los Angeles, CA)

About the Role

Spin.AI is looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Field Marketing Manager to lead and execute field marketing initiatives across our portfolio of brands, including Spin.AI, Revyz, and DoControl.

In this role, you'll own the planning and execution of high-impact events and field marketing programs, including major cybersecurity conferences, industry summits, trade shows, executive roundtables, customer gatherings, and regional experiences. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, executive leadership, and external partners to create memorable experiences that strengthen relationships, build brand awareness, and contribute to measurable pipeline growth.

We're looking for someone who combines strong event management expertise with a strategic, business-minded approach to field marketing. You should be comfortable managing every aspect of an event, from initial planning and budgeting to onsite execution and post-event follow-up, while understanding how each initiative supports broader marketing and revenue objectives.

This is a role with real ownership and autonomy. We value people who bring fresh ideas, take initiative, work independently, and find smarter ways to get things done.

What You'll Do:

• Run a full annual calendar of 35+ events across the US, EMEA, APAC, Canada, and LATAM, ranging from major flagship conferences and regional shows to community meetups, executive dinners, and partner sessions, while stretching the budget by running events remotely through local partners and vendors.
• Own the planning, coordination, and execution of field marketing programs across Spin.AI, Revyz, and DoControl, including conferences, trade shows, industry summits, executive roundtables, regional events, and customer experiences.
• Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venues, sponsorships, vendors, contracts, budgets, registration, booth design, collateral, promotional materials, and onsite execution.
• Collaborate with Sales teams on target accounts, pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up.
• Work with Marketing to align field marketing initiatives with integrated campaigns, messaging, promotional strategies, and broader GTM priorities.
• Coordinate event marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid channels, partner communications, and other relevant platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, industry partners, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Track event performance, including attendance, engagement, meetings generated, qualified opportunities, pipeline influence, and return on investment.
• Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, optimize spending, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify new and creative opportunities to engage cybersecurity and technology audiences through meaningful, differentiated experiences.
• Leverage AI tools and AI-driven workflows to streamline event planning, research, reporting, data analysis, vendor management, and operational processes.
• Continuously evaluate event performance, gather feedback, and apply learnings to improve future programs.

Experience We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 3-5+ years owning B2B events end to end, from strategy, budget, and vendor selection through onsite execution and post-event pipeline follow-up, ideally within cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
• Hands-on experience setting up international events (EMEA, APAC, LATAM), including successfully running and supporting events remotely when you can't be there in person, by working through local vendors, partners, and in-region teams across time zones.
• Proven success with innovative, out-of-the-box approaches that drive outsized results from modest budgets. You know how to make a scrappy activation, a creative partnership, or a small, well-targeted event punch well above its weight, and you have the numbers to show it.
• AI-first in how you work, not just AI-curious. You already use AI as a major multiplier on your own productivity, going well beyond chatting in a browser to building AI projects, custom workflows, and automations (e.g., Claude, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT) that handle research, planning, content, reporting, and follow-up. Be ready to walk us through how you've set it up.
• Proven experience managing conferences, trade shows, executive events, roundtables, and other B2B field marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
• Strong understanding of how field marketing supports brand awareness, customer engagement, sales enablement, demand generation, and pipeline development.
• Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams, marketing leadership, executive stakeholders, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, coordinating logistics, and overseeing onsite execution.
• Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, event management, and project management platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate event performance, report on results, and make data-informed recommendations.
• AI-native proficiency, with demonstrated experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, and other AI-enabled platforms to improve productivity, research, analysis, and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, events, and onsite execution, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Cybersecurity experience is a plus, but a strong understanding of B2B technology marketing and the ability to learn quickly are equally valuable.

What Success Looks Like:

Success in this role means delivering exceptional events that contribute to meaningful business outcomes. You'll be responsible for building a field marketing program that strengthens our presence in the cybersecurity market, creates valuable customer and prospect experiences, and supports revenue growth.

We'll measure success through event execution and attendee experience, qualified meetings and opportunities generated, target-account engagement, event-sourced and influenced pipeline, budget efficiency, event ROI, and strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

Just as importantly, success means continuously improving how we operate: identifying better opportunities, streamlining processes, applying new technologies, and creating repeatable, scalable field marketing programs across our brands.

How We Work:

You have a startup mindset. You're a self-starter who doesn't need someone telling you what to do throughout the day. You can take an objective, build a plan, coordinate the right people, and make it happen. You're resourceful, curious, organized, and a fast learner.

We trust your expertise. We hire great people because we want their ideas, judgment, and experience - not because we want someone to simply execute instructions. If you see a better way to approach an event, improve a process, or create an opportunity, we genuinely want to hear it. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, take ownership, and execute in the way you believe will deliver the strongest results.

You're collaborative and dynamic. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, executive leadership, and external partners. You're comfortable working across teams, bringing new ideas to the table, and building strong relationships. You value feedback, communicate openly, and understand that the best results come from working together.

You move fast. We're a fast-moving company in an even faster-moving industry. You know how to prioritize, solve problems, adapt to changes, and keep things moving. If something doesn't work, you learn from it, adjust, and try again.

You're a team player. We care about the work we do and the people we do it with. You take pride in producing great work, celebrate team wins, support your colleagues, and genuinely enjoy collaborating with others.

You're adaptable. Technology changes, priorities shift, and the cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving. You're comfortable with change and excited by the opportunity to learn, grow, and improve.

You care about outcomes. A successful event isn't just one that runs smoothly. It's one that creates value for our customers, prospects, partners, and business. You take pride in understanding the impact of your work and continuously finding ways to improve it.

And we genuinely enjoy working together. Across Spin.AI, Revyz, and DoControl, we believe great work and a great life should go hand in hand. We respect work-life balance, trust people to manage their responsibilities, and value positive, healthy working relationships. We work hard, move quickly, and care deeply about results - but we also want people to enjoy the work they're doing and the life they're living while doing it. A positive attitude, mutual respect, and being someone others genuinely enjoy working with matter here.
