Requirements

What You'll Do
  • Perform precision field machining in industrial environments across North America and beyond.
  • Hold tight tolerances in demanding real-world conditions.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain specialized machining equipment at customer sites.
  • Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Partner with engineers, project managers, and customers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 5+ years of manual machining and/or field machining experience.
  • Strong experience operating Bridgeport mills and manual engine lathes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
  • Skilled in precision measurement using micrometers and inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
  • Experience with rigging, hand tools, and power tools.
  • A self-starter who can troubleshoot, adapt, and succeed in the field.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.
  • Technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred.

Required Certifications & Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 Certification (provided)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Forklift Certification/License (provided)
  • IPM Overhead Crane Training Certification
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional weekends
  • Comfortable using mobile applications for timekeeping, expenses, and project reporting
