The primary business objective is to enhance FSE retention, professional development, and career growth opportunities within the Gas Services, Service North America organization. To achieve these aims, the role is structured around three core responsibilities: leading and developing a team of post-training FSEs, managing their dispatch and allocation to billable field projects, and overseeing the operational performance of the hub. This structure ensures a direct focus on both talent management and effective resource utilization to meet project demands. Given the focus on team leadership and operational oversight, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in managing technical teams within a field service environment. Essential qualifications include strong capabilities in talent development, resource planning, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, supported by a relevant technical or engineering background.

• Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures across the team. Promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment that enables successful project execution.
• Optimize workforce utilization by strategically dispatching Field Service Engineers to customer projects based on technical expertise, availability, and business priorities. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely staffing and delivery of project commitments.
• Monitor resource allocation, billable utilization, and project assignments to maximize operational efficiency. Use workforce data and performance metrics to support forecasting, planning, and informed business decisions.
• Drive operational excellence within the Field Engineering Hub by improving processes, enhancing collaboration, and implementing scalable best practices. Communicate team performance, development progress, and key operational insights to senior leadership to support business objectives.

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Leverage a strong technical foundation to support operational decision-making and team success.
• Demonstrate at least five years of experience in a technical field service, engineering, or project-driven environment. Apply practical expertise to balance customer needs, project priorities, and business objectives.
• Possess proven leadership experience with a minimum of two years leading professional-level employees. Inspire high performance through accountability, coaching, employee development, and effective team engagement.
• Excel at resource planning, project oversight, and operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Use sound judgment to manage assignments, maintain schedules, and ensure quality delivery across multiple priorities.
• Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication skills. Build productive relationships, keep teams informed, and foster collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Apply analytical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive operational efficiencies. Maintain a strong commitment to quality, environmental health and safety standards, and successful project outcomes.
