About the Role:Seeking an experienced
Field Construction Manager to serve as the on-site field supervisor for a large public school construction project in Paterson, NJ. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team, consisting of a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and MEP Manager, to oversee daily construction operations and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:- Oversee daily field construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve field issues.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Review contractor schedules, maintain project documentation, and prepare field reports.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress.
- Support overall project delivery through effective field coordination and construction management.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of construction inspection and/or construction management experience.
- Experience on K-12 school, educational, or public building projects in New Jersey.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
- Must reside in New Jersey.
- Experience with New Jersey school construction projects is required.
Estimated Annual Compensation:$120,000-$150,000 annually
