Job Title: Field Application Engineer - PowerPro

Siemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization.

You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops
• Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins
• Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements

Qualifications

Required:
• Strong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)
• Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows
• Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies
• Scripting skills (Tcl, Python)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field

Preferred:
• Experience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)
• Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)
• Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE)
• Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs, or agent frameworks) to improve productivity and debug efficiency

Additional Information:
• Hybrid role with up to 20% travel may be required

The pay range for this position is $146,700 - $293,400 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
