Recruiting for - FHWA Construction Project Engineer

Location: AK, WA, OR, ID, MT, WY

Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Pay: $75/hour
DOE + Per Diem

proHNS LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to support FHWA construction projects across AK, WA, OR, ID, MT, and
WY. This role supports field-based infrastructure work that improves access, safety, and mobility in communities and public lands.

You'll
help lead day-to-day construction oversight, coordinate with contractors and agencies, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, coordination, documentation, Microsoft Office, and file management skills.
  • Experience working with contractors, agencies, landowners, and the public; familiarity with MUTCD, AASHTO, ADA standards, construction specifications, and environmental oversight.
  • Licensed Civil PE; bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management plus 5 years of lead project experience; or 10 years of highway or bridge construction experience, including 6 years as a Project Engineer or Resident Engineer.
