Role Overview:The Territory Account Manager II is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory while driving profitable sales growth. This position works closely with growers, retailers, dealers, alliance partners, and internal stakeholders to identify customer needs, provide agronomic and business solutions, and achieve territory sales objectives. The Territory Account Manager II develops territory plans, executes sales strategies, and serves as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering value-added products, services, and technical support.
A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:- Develop and grow customer relationships within an assigned sales territory
- Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability
- Create and execute annual territory business plans and sales objectives
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, agronomy, and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Prepare sales forecasts and maintain accurate pipeline and customer records
- Negotiate pricing and sales agreements within established guidelines
- Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitive activity within the territory
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and community functions
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
What You Bring to the Role:- 5+ years of sales, agriculture, agronomy, crop input, wholesale, distribution, or related industry experience
- Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets
- Experience developing business plans and executing growth strategies
- Strong understanding of agricultural production practices, crop inputs, or related products and services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze business opportunities and develop solutions that create value for customers
- Proficiency using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, or related field preferred
Your Digital & Technology Capabilities:- Utilize CRM platforms, forecasting tools, and sales analytics to manage territory activities and support business planning
- Leverage Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and collaboration technologies to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Use data and business insights to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and drive territory growth
- Embrace emerging technologies including Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, and workflow automation tools to improve productivity and customer engagement

Compensation and Benefits: - In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $70,600 - $94,080. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
