Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for primary care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to deliver compassionate patient-centered services. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including routine examinations, health assessments, and preventive care.
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups with an emphasis on patient education and health promotion.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across specialties such as pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, dermatology, and more to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and laboratory results to inform treatment plans.
  • Conduct procedures such as suturing, basic life support interventions, and other minor outpatient procedures as needed.
  • Educate patients on health management strategies including lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive screenings.
  • Stay current with medical research, clinical guidelines, and best practices to continually enhance patient care quality.

Requirements
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of a residency in family medicine or equivalent post-residency experience.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
  • Demonstrated experience in outpatient primary care settings with familiarity in hospital medicine or inpatient experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis techniques across multiple specialties including pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, dermatology, neurology, pulmonology, radiology, orthopedics, pathology, psychiatry, endocrinology, nephrology, infectious disease care, and more.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient service while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
  • Experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is advantageous; additional skills in health coaching or telehealth are a plus.

Our behavioral health offices are located in Dunkirk and Jamestown, NY.
