Full Job Description
Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Surprise who are passionate about providing care to the underserved communities in the metro Phoenix area. We were founded in 1979 when there was a need for healthcare for farm workers and migrants. Since that time we have grown and now have 9 clinics throughout Maricopa County (Phoenix and surrounding areas), and are continuing to grow as the demands for quality healthcare continues. We provide Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dental and Behavioral Health.

Our Federally Qualified Health Centers provide care to a diverse patient population in a Patient Centered Medical Home model through multi-disciplinary care teams. We are Joint Commissioned Accredited and affiliated with local medical schools. We are currently growing and I would like to talk with you about a position with us.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school program
  • Completion of an accredited United States Family Practice Residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Valid Arizona medical license
  • Valid DEA certificate
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques
  • Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public
  • Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills
  • Basic computer efficiency
  • Valid AZ driver's license
  • Commitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values
  • Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status
  • Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
  • Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
