Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Medicine Physician you will join Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group's thriving Family Medicine network in the premier community of Houston, Texas in the Vintage area. This opportunity allows you to expand our mission, providing outstanding, comprehensive primary care and making a significant impact in a supportive and collaborative environment within an established practice.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel, seeing an average of 18-22 patients daily, from newborns to seniors. You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, emphasize preventative care, and collaborate closely with a dedicated support team. All of this is within a flexible 4.5-day work week designed to optimize your work-life balance and allow you to enjoy all Vintage has to offer.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with an active Texas license. We seek strong clinical skills in comprehensive primary care, a patient-centered approach, and excellent communication abilities within a dynamic outpatient setting. Job Requirements

Required:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Texas.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in comprehensive primary care, including care for newborns to adults.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in medical education, teaching, and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic and clinical environment, contributing to program development and ACGME accreditation.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and fostering a positive learning environment.
