Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Family Medicine Team.

 

The Opportunity:

Join a family medicine clinic with more than 60 years of history serving the Fairbanks community. The clinic is part of a large multidisciplinary health system and provides care to patients across the full lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics. Our providers manage a broad range of acute concerns as well as ongoing chronic conditions. Practicing at our clinic within a rural health system allows providers to maintain a broad scope of practice and take a more active role in managing complex patient care. The clinic environment is collaborative, with family medicine physicians and advanced practice providers working together to support the needs of the community.

 

  • Compensation: Starting at a base of $147,112, compensation can be further adjusted based on experience. Additional opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. $40k sign-on bonus.
  • Schedule: M-F 40 hours per week. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME. 
  • Team: Works within a care team model, partnering with physicians to manage patient care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.

 

Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.

 

Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.

 

Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred.
