ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing• Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
• Represent clients at
in-person court hearings and appearances• Handle divorce, legal separation, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, and property division matters
• Handle high-conflict custody and domestic violence cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery, and other legal documents
• Analyze cases and develop effective litigation and settlement strategies
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and work toward favorable resolutions
• Communicate regularly and effectively with clients
• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to keep cases organized and moving
• Maintain accurate and complete client files
• Protect and advocate for clients' interests throughout the legal process
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For•
3+ years of family law experience• Active California Bar membership and in good standing
• Strong courtroom and litigation experience
• Experience with custody, child support, spousal support, divorce, property division, and domestic violence matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and strategic in high-conflict situations
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with a team
• A genuine commitment to client service and advocacy
