Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC has a potential need for a
Facilities Manager to provide support for our government customer in
Gulfport, MS.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:- Holds overall responsibility for facilities operations, facilities maintenance, and electrical operations.
- Owns the integrated facilities execution plan and resolves competing demands among continuous operations, scheduled maintenance, and project work.
- Serves as the senior authority for facility emergencies and declared events.
- Approves Methods of Procedure affecting Critical Physical Infrastructure and is accountable for performance against the availability standards set by the customer.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:- BS/BA and 10 years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance in a data center or mission-critical facility, including 5 years in a management role, or high school diploma and 14 years of equivalent experience.
- IDCA Data Center Manager (DCM) or approved equivalent.
- DOE Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) in all four tracks: Generalist. IT Specialist, HVAC Specialist, and Electrical Specialist.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Understand the complete scope of all data center systems, processes, and infrastructure.
- Analyze complex project requirements.
- Build and lead a team with the skills to implement all data center maintenance and project requirements.
- Analyze the continuing performance of all aspects of the data center infrastructure and operations.
- Detect data center performance problem areas and suggest solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the staff and technicians.
- Ability to understand safety rules, and manuals for various equipment.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:- Must be a naturalized United States citizen. Green card holders are not eligible.
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
