Job DescriptionYou will be a Facilities Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for planning and implementing construction projects at the Ocala facility.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact facility solutions that meet regulatory, budgetary, and schedule requirements.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Gather and review data on facility or equipment specifications, regulatory constraints, project timelines, and construction feasibility.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and produce layout and detail drawings.
- Prepare bid packages, contracts, and cost estimates covering equipment, installation, labor, materials, and associated expenses.
- Inspect or direct inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Basic QualificationsBasic Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline with (1-2) years of Professional Experience; or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
• Consulting Engineering Experience Preferred but not Required.
• Construction Experience Preferred but not Required.
• Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be U.S. citizens
• Facilities or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Desired SkillsDesired skills :
Able to work independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgement and overall adequacy.
• Knowledge of general construction techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code(s).
• Serve as Project Manager and/or Contribute to Team Efforts to Meet Project Milestones. Provide Electrical Engineering Support for a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Able to coordinate and communicate with team, support, customers, management, and contactors on all levels.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
