We are looking for a
Facilities Engineer to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will be based in
Newark, Delaware. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.
This role oversees maintaining and improving our facility's infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems while managing vendor contracts to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable operations.
Role and Responsibilities:- Maintenance & Operations:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs for facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air).
- Ensure all equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and reliably.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Planning & Improvement:
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflow and facility layout.
- Plan and manage projects related to building upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure the facility adheres to safety standards, building codes, and industrial regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Implement and manage safety programs, including procedures for hazardous materials and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain compliance records.
- Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) records.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance and facility operations.
Skills and Experience:- BS degree, preferred or equivalent experience
- Prior experience within manufacturing organization

Salary Ranges:$68,800.00 - $99,200.00
