Full Job Description
The Manager, Facilities & Administration is primarily responsible for the overall management of EOG's leased Houston headquarters, comprising over 440,000 square feet in a downtown office tower, and assisting leadership with other real estate and facilities management activities associated with the company's real estate portfolio. This highly visible role leads a seven-person team across facilities, mailroom, reception, and workplace services.

The Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused workplace services that support EOG's culture and enable employees to perform their best. This role also contributes to broader real estate and workplace strategies through effective operations, planning, continuous improvement, and directly supports real estate and facilities leadership through critical special projects and initiatives.

The position is 100% in-office in EOG's downtown Houston, Texas headquarters.

Description of Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee facility operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and systems performance.
  • Develop and implement facility standards, operating procedures, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, and lease requirements.
  • Partner with property management to coordinate building services, maintenance activities, and tenant-related matters.


Occupancy Management & Workplace Services
  • Parter with internal customers to manage occupancy and office assignments, including moves, adds, and changes.
  • Lead execution of office moves, furniture installations, and light construction projects in coordination with internal technology teams and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee conference room and workplace setup services to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience.
  • Support workplace experience initiatives, including amenities, break rooms, and employee-facing services.
  • Lead space management system implementation and ongoing platform management.


Contract Management & Transaction Support
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service provider performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and accountability.
  • Oversee procurement, installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of office furniture and equipment.
  • Support real estate transaction activities.
  • Maintain critical property and project files, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and data integrity.


Financial Management & Reporting
  • Provide review, audit, and approval of lease operating expense escalations and reconciliations.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, including forecasting and long-range planning.
  • Track, code, and approve invoices; analyze costs and utilization to identify efficiencies and savings opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and present insights to leadership on facilities and service performance.
  • Lead data compilation, analytics, and report development to support decision making and provide activity status.


Office Services Operations
  • Oversee mailroom and facilities operations teams.
  • Manage centralized office supply programs, including inventory, storage, and distribution.
  • Ensure proper stocking and maintenance of break rooms and common areas.
  • Optimize service request processes and service delivery standards.
  • Drive quality standards impacting the employee experience.


Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team; set goals and performance expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive administrators and senior leadership.
  • Communicate proactively with business partners to assess needs, measure satisfaction, and improve services.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Manage operational-related projects, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements, best practices, and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of facilities, office services, or property / facilities management experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, commercial office lease agreements, preventive maintenance programs, and space management.
  • Proven experience managing lease agreement obligations, budgets, vendors, and capital projects.
  • Excellent service, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with facilities or space management systems preferred.


Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
