The RoleWe have an immediate opportunity for a Facades Vice President with experience in Building Envelope design and investigation to join our rapidly growing team in Los Angeles. This individual will participate in and oversee design consulting for new construction and support investigations of existing building envelopes.

Responsibilities- Establishes broad project strategies, resourcing, and project performance goals.
- Identifies and pursues new clients and project work.
- Serves as primary contact with client.
- Manages projects and team to achieve financial goals.
- Ensures that projects undergo standard quality assurance activities, including design reviews, documentation checks, and design checks.
- Contribute to TT's leadership by facilitating clear communications and guidance among team leaders, promoting professional relationships internally and externally.
- Monitors team staffing and resourcing needs, collaborates with other project managers, and reports to practice leader.
- Supports the development of company standards relating to façade consulting and commissioning.
- Promotes TT's services and reputation in the local and national markets.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including previous progressively responsible project management experience. An advanced degree can be considered as a part of the candidate's relevant experience.
- Technical expertise in façade design, building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, and air barrier systems.
- Ability to conduct up-front studies to determine appropriate design systems and develop/guide work, drawings, and calculations as needed.
- Proven knowledge of façade practices, strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to build quick rapport with all levels of employees and clients.
- Proven ability in problem identification, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of architectural design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques and costs.
- Professional licensure in California is preferred.
CompensationThe rate for this position generally is $150,000 - $200,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful California applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by California Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
