Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could Include- Build and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and automation
- Partner with data engineers and platform teams to design scalable workflow patterns
- Harden workflows for reliability, retries, and clear operational visibility
- Automate repetitive tasks with Bash and Python
- Support containerized execution and deployments across Linux environments
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance issues, and upstream dependencies
- Document pipelines and operating procedures so teams move faster
Minimum Qualifications- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- This role aligns to Software Engineer (SWE), Level 2
- Master's degree in Computer Science, or related, plus 3 years of SWE experience
- Or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related, plus 5 years of SWE experience
- Or 7 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Required Skills- Linux CLI experience and strong comfort with Linux tools
- Bash scripting to automate manual processes
- Recent Python and Java development experience
- Apache Airflow experience, DAG design, scheduling, operators, sensors
- Distributed processing experience with Apache Spark
- Container experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
- Git source control experience
Desired Skills- Atlassian tools experience, Jira and Confluence
- AWS cloud services and infrastructure familiarity
Compensation Range: $155,000.00 - $205,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
