Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership and manufacturer objectives
- Work directly with employees and customers to build lasting relationships and continuously improve the sales experience
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturer representatives, vendors, and business partners
- Develop and expand a customer network through exceptional relationship-building and follow-up
- Partner with the marketing team to create and execute effective advertising and promotional campaigns
- Achieve and exceed manufacturer performance objectives and dealership sales goals
- Manage new-vehicle inventory, including vehicle ordering, allocation, and dealer trades
- Desk deals, structure transactions, and assist the sales team with closing opportunities
- Track gross logs, RDRs, and other key sales performance metrics
- Train, coach, and support sales associates to maximize individual and team performance
- Monitor and improve sales processes, CRM utilization, and overall departmental efficiency
- Oversee all aspects of the sales department while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism
Qualifications- Previous luxury automotive sales management experience is required
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive inventory management and sales processes
- Strong computer and technology skills, including experience with ADP/CDK, CRM platforms, internet-based tools, and phone systems
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
