As an Executive Partner within the Data & Analytics domain, you will work directly with Public Sector leaders, including Chief Data & Analytics Officers (CDAOs), Chief AI Officers, and senior technology executives across Federal, Defense, Intelligence, and State & Local Government organizations. You will help clients navigate complex data, analytics, and AI initiatives while driving measurable business and mission outcomes.
Who You AreYou are a former senior Data, Analytics, or AI executive who understands the real-world challenges facing today's technology leaders. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, translating complex technology trends into business value, and serving as a trusted advisor to organizations seeking to accelerate data-driven and AI-enabled transformation.
What You Will Do- Manage a portfolio of approximately 25-30 Public Sector client relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives through one-on-one engagements, strategic discussions, workshops, webinars, roundtables, and Gartner events
- Leverage your executive leadership experience and Gartner research to provide actionable guidance on mission-critical Data & Analytics and AI initiatives
- Help clients address strategic challenges, identify emerging opportunities, and achieve their organizational objectives
- Collaborate closely with Gartner Analysts, Sales, Client Success teams, and fellow Executive Partners to maximize client value and engagement
- Support client retention and business growth through prospect cultivation, value demonstrations, and account planning activities
- Operate as a highly autonomous individual contributor, managing your client portfolio and engagement activities
Required Qualifications- 15+ years of leadership experience in Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, or related disciplines
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- Executive-level experience in roles such as: Chief Data Officer (CDO) Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) Chief AI Officer VP/SVP of Data & Analytics VP/SVP of Business Intelligence Senior Government Data, Analytics, or AI Leadership roles
- Experience supporting or working within Federal Government, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other Public Sector organizations
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior executives on strategic business and technology decisions
- Strong executive presence, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in advisory, consulting, customer-facing, or executive engagement roles
- Bachelor's degree required

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 160,000 USD - 194,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
