Responsibilities:
- Manage and synchronize the GO’s executive calendar, travel, engagements, decision forums, and preparation requirements.
- Coordinate staff actions, ensuring all taskings, suspenses, and executive decisions are tracked through completion.
- Prepare or coordinate read-aheads, meeting summaries, decision papers, briefings, talking points, and correspondence for senior-level engagements.
- Serve as a central node between the GO’s office and directorates, subordinate commands, Army headquarters, Joint organizations, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain an integrated view of command priorities, major events, milestones, risks, and senior-leader decision requirements
- Facilitate executive synchronization meetings and maintain authoritative records of decisions, assignments, and follow-up actions.
- Anticipate information requirements and identify conflicts, gaps, or emerging issues requiring GO awareness or staff action.
- Support strategic communication efforts, including messaging, speeches, visits, and stakeholder engagements.
- Assist with onboarding, continuity, and transition activities within the executive office.
- Ensure executive-office processes are disciplined, responsive, and compliant with Army and organizational policies
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, IT, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of DoD-specific experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, General Officers/Flag Officers, senior civilian leaders, or comparable high-level leaders.
- Strong understanding of Army, Joint, DoD, or federal executive-staff processes.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, compressed timelines, and sensitive executive-level matters with discretion.
- Experience producing executive correspondence, decision materials, read-aheads, and meeting records.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across military, civilian, contractor, and external stakeholder organizations.
- Ability to meet all access, suitability, and security requirements for the position.
Desired:
- Joint Staff, Army/Service Headquarters, or OSD experience at the O-4/O-5 (or equivalent) level or above-specifically in roles requiring heavy staff work and brief production.
- Familiarity with communications, information technology, modernization, cyber, or related mission areas.
- Experience in headquarters-level environments requiring significant staff coordination and senior-leader engagement.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$95,500-$210,100
