Position Summary
The Residential Executive Director provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for a residential substance use disorder treatment facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the STEPS Detox facility delivers safe, ethical, clinically effective, and financially sustainable services in accordance with organizational policies, licensing regulations, accreditation standards, payer requirements, and established standards of care.
The Executive Director oversees the facility's daily operations, census development, employee performance, patient experience, regulatory compliance, clinical and medical coordination, financial performance, and community relationships. The Executive Director works collaboratively with executive leadership and departmental leaders to maintain operational stability, strengthen program quality, promote staff accountability, and support positive patient outcomes.
This position requires a highly visible and engaged leader who can manage complex facility operations, respond effectively to challenges, develop high-performing teams, and maintain a culture of professionalism, safety, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
