About the Opportunity:RhynoCare is seeking an experienced
Executive Director to work in Long Term Care facilities in
Kitchener, ON. You will be hired and onboarded with
RhynoCare as an Independent Contractor.
Position OverviewThe Executive Director provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of a Long-Term Care residence, with responsibility for resident services, staff and program coordination, regulatory standards, and financial performance..
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of resident-focused services and initiatives that promote residents' well-being and quality of life.
- Maintain a secure, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, employees, and visitors.
- Oversee effective processes for resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Establish positive working relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, service providers, and community partners.
- Address concerns raised by residents and families and ensure timely follow-up and appropriate resolution.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure departments and services function effectively.
- Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and standards across the residence.
- Promote collaboration and accountability among leadership and care teams.
Requirements- Post-secondary diploma in Health or Social Services from a program of at least two years.
- Completed or currently enrolled in a Long-Term Care Residence Administration or Management program with a minimum of 100 instructional hours.
- At least 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience within the healthcare or social services sector.
- Previous experience working in Long-Term Care operations or administration is preferred.
Compensation- Pay: $105,000 - $125,000 a year (Depending on experience and assignment)
