Qualifications

• Licensed physician, RN, LSW, licensed therapist, or nursing home administrator with 2+ years of health management experience, or high school diploma with 2 years of supervisory experience in health-related settings.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in healthcare operations and sales management.
• Minimum of 3 years in progressive healthcare operational management, preferably hospice.
• Capability to supervise and guide management personnel effectively.
• Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and systems, including Medicare hospice policies.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing organizational process improvements.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with strong executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Organize and guide the agency's operations, including planning and budget monitoring.
• Ensure ethical business practices and interdisciplinary care delivery.
• Direct staff in patient admissions, discharges, and service provisions.
• Hire qualified staff and oversee their educational development and performance.
• Provide staff supervision during service hours and ensure support services are available.
• Maintain knowledge of community service systems and assure compliance with hospice standards.
• Ensure agency operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Manage conflict resolution and complaints effectively.
• Implement and oversee financial management systems for operational stability.
• Evaluate programs, services, and personnel performance.
