We're hiring an
Executive Chef to join our culinary team supporting the Texas Rangers baseball team in Arlington, TX.
Run your own kitchen inside a Major League clubhouse. Bring your passion for food, and for Dallas-Fort Worth, to the players and staff of the Texas Rangers every day, with real autonomy and a corporate culinary team behind you.
This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations - West.
What You'll Do: - Direct the food preparation for all Texas Rangers home games during exhibition games, regular season, and post-season.

- Specialized meals, including dietary restrictions
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and prepare three meals per game day, serving approximately 60-100 people per meal.
- Manage and maintain all-access snack, beverage, and recovery stations in the clubhouse
- Collaborate with the performance team & dietitian(s) to develop menus and recipes.
- Be a good partner to the Texas performance team, specifically the Home Clubhouse Manager and MLB Dietitian.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage a seasonal Rangers-dedicated staff.
- Participate in corporate initiatives and be a contributing member of the KitchFix culinary leadership team.
- Track & manage account budgets. Be responsible for COGS, specifically food and labor costs.
- Serve well-rounded menus that feature Dominican, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, and Cuban cuisine regularly.
- Build relationships with local purveyors, farmers, and makers to source quality products and bring them to the clubhouse.
- Be responsible for all ordering, storage, and inventory for all purchased products.
- Oversee food safety & handling procedures within the kitchen & dining room.
- Ensure proper labeling for all served products, including major ingredients and allergens.
- Work in tandem with the client for any special events outside of regularly scheduled game services, i.e., anniversaries, family days, practice days, and press conferences.
- Dedicate up to three weeks of travel to Surprise, AZ, to support spring training operations and build relationships with the club (February/March).
- Promote and exemplify a culture that is rooted in positivity and humility.
- Keep up to date with current food trends, new products, and emerging cuisines.
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience as an executive chef, with expertise in food preparation, food safety, and hospitality.
- ServSafe food manager certification and allergen certification.
- Perform the physical demands - Remain on your feet for several hours at a time, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, withstand high-temperature conditions, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience working with a P&L account.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work the full year-round schedule outlined below.

Work Schedule:- February: Spring training in Surprise, AZ, up to 3 weeks.
- March: Season prep in Arlington, largely hands-on and independent: final hiring, training the team, organizing and placing opening orders, stocking, and final cleaning.
- Late March-September: 81 home games across roughly 13 homestands, plus start-up, and shutdown days. Long days on-site, with off weeks for planning, admin, and rest.
- Offseason: Largely self-directed after training and trust built with management. Menu planning, exploring the local food scene, building the team, corporate initiatives including occasional travel, regular time improving the kitchen, and a handful of club events.
