The Platform Business Analyst within the Execution, Financing and Clearing division plays a pivotal role in advancing technology and analytics solutions that enhance transparency, intelligence, and execution for both clients and internal teams. This position sits at the intersection of finance and technology and centers on leveraging technology and data to create impactful products for State Street’s financing and execution platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical skills with strong communication skills and business acumen. Ability to apply quantitative methods to business challenges and explain them to a diverse audience is a must. Success in this role requires developing relevant business insights through data, collaborating cross-functionally, and keen attention to detail.

What you will be responsible for

• Prototyping and iterating on innovative solutions, working with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver tailored products efficiently.
• Engaging directly with clients and prospects, conducting product demonstrations, managing proofs of concepts, and serving as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborating with internal technology teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure successful product delivery from ideation to deployment.
• Managing roadmaps, identifying timeline risks and proactively preparing and communicating audience-appropriate project status
• Preparing end user documentation and facilitating end user training
• Maintaining high standards of governance and risk management throughout the solution development process.
• Collaborating and engaging team members in collegial and professional manner

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• At least 5 years of experience in quantitative, analytical or technology roles within financial services sector
• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Python and SQL programming
• Experience developing insights and dashboards in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik a plus
• Experience in securities financing (including securities lending/borrowing, repo, and collateral management) a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with business leaders and technical teams at all organizational levels

Additional requirements

• This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 4 days a week in the office
