Estimator - WaterDenver, CO
$85,000-$125,000/year + Annual Incentive Bonus Eligibility
What You'll Lead- Review project documents, including proposed plans, specifications, addenda, and related documents
- Identify scope of work, project requirements, constraints, and potential risks
- Identify scope gaps, clarifications, exclusions, and inconsistencies in proposal documents
- Perform material, labor, and equipment takeoffs with accuracy and consistency
- Obtain quotes and coordinate/quality scope with vendors and subcontractors
- Assist with preparing bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation
- Validate compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Evaluate all estimate components for accuracy and completeness before submission
- Develop new estimating methodologies, pricing strategies, and benchmarking tools to improve accuracy and competitiveness
What You Bring- 2+ years of relevant estimating experience on industrial or commercial mechanical projects
- Knowledge of pipes, valves, and fittings
- Ability to provide direction for complex or high-value estimates
- Comfortable representing the estimating function in high-level internal and external discussions
- College/University graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles
