Job DescriptionOverview AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Estimator to join our Cost Estimating Team. This is an
entry-level position and is based out of Costa Mesa, CA.
Your Role - Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules, forecasts, budgets, risks, changes, and performance metrics to help deliver projects successfully.
- Perform estimating, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, forecasting, reporting, cash flow monitoring, invoice processing, and financial tracking activities.
- Assist with production of project Master Schedules, contractor schedule review and analysis, time extension analysis, change management, contractor coordination, and compliance monitoring.
- Maintain project records and databases, validates project information, prepares reports and analyses, and supports project communication and decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating change orders.
About You - EXPERIENCE:
- Basic experience in reading construction drawings
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic mathematical and analytical skills
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred

Additional Information Expected compensation range is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
