OverviewThe Director of Estimating is responsible for developing policies for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing and services.
Responsibilities- Develops policies for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing and services.
- Assesses cost effectiveness of products and services.
- Tracks actual costs as the project develops.
- Collaborates with leaders from other departments to formulate estimates and resolves issues.
- Assess cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentations.
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
- Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

Preferred Education, Experience, and QualificationsTravel Requirements- 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
