Mahoney Environmental Solutions LLC is looking for an ERP Applications Analyst to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and the ERP System, ensuring that Oracle Fusion effectively supports Mahoney's operational, financial, and strategic objectives. This role combines strong business acumen, financial process expertise, and Oracle Fusion knowledge to drive continuous improvement, system optimization, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ERP Analyst manages, supports, and optimizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to align business processes with technology solutions. This position helps manage core business processes through ERP software, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet business needs. This position acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, gathering requirements, configuring applications, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ERP implementations and upgrades. This position is not a remote position.

Location: Woodridge, IL (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days work from home)

Starting annual salary: $110,000-$125,000Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary business partner between functional departments and the ERP System.
  • Act as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion applications and related business processes.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of operational and financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts supporting operational and financial decision-making.
  • Investigate and resolve ERP-related issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end business processes through effective ERP system management.
  • Lead user acceptance testing and support ERP enhancements, upgrades, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to business users on Oracle Fusion functionality and best practices.
  • Lead data governance initiatives, ensuring data integrity, and data integration working closely with stakeholders to optimize data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide a centralized approach to managing data, enabling organizations to establish policies, procedures, and standards for managing data throughout the integration process.
  • Establish a governance structure for managing data, making it easier to track data changes, monitor data quality, and maintain data security.
  • Automate data management processes, reducing the need for manual intervention, standardizing data and ensuring consistency across systems. Required Skills/Abilities
  • Proficiency in ERP platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or Epicor Prophet 21; SQL and database management, ERP development tools and APIs.
  • Understanding of finance, or operations processes to translate business needs into system functionality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, financial systems, or related business processes.
