Responsibilities

ERP and Manufacturing Systems Governance & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of ERP Business Analysts and Application Specialists supporting multiple manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico, UK, and China.
  • Lead weekly change control meetings to ensure changes are documented, tested, approved, and communicated.
  • Perform periodic reviews of users, security, and changes to meet Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements.
  • Partner with functional and plant leadership to prioritize initiatives, resolve cross-functional issues, and promote consistent business processes.
  • Manage relationships with application, integration, analytics, cloud, and consulting partners, including statement-of-work oversight, service performance, and invoice review.
  • Submit annual ERP and Manufacturing Systems budget and track actual spend to budget.

ERP Operations, Support & Business Continuity

  • Own day-to-day support, configuration, administration, security-role design, and lifecycle management of the ACG Plex ERP environment.
  • Manage escalation of support requests from plant Plex ERP champions and end users, coordinating resolution with software providers and third parties when required.
  • Maintain an after-hours support model for critical issues affecting shipping, receiving, production, inventory, or other essential operations.
  • Define service levels, monitoring, incident escalation, root-cause analysis, problem management, and continuous-improvement practices.
  • Maintain application recovery procedures, support testing, and coordinate continuity planning for business-critical ERP and integration services.

Business Process, Delivery & Adoption

  • Translate business-process requirements into functional and technical requirements, configuration designs, workflows, reports, integrations, and project plans.
  • Lead implementation of new ERP and Manufacturing Systems functions across facilities, including discovery, design, testing, training, cutover, stabilization, and benefits realization.
  • Identify process-improvement and automation opportunities across manufacturing, assembly, engineering, quality, product structure, supply chain, finance, and warehousing.
  • Develop role-based training for new employees, plant Plex ERP champions, analysts, and end users.

Machine Integration, Digital Twins & Intelligent Manufacturing

  • Lead integration of shop-floor machines and industrial systems with ERP, manufacturing applications, and the enterprise data platform using secure and supportable interfaces.
  • Define architectures for collecting, contextualizing, and monitoring machine telemetry, events, production counts, process parameters, downtime, quality, energy, and maintenance data.
  • Lead use of digital twins that represent machines, production assets, processes, and operating conditions to support visualization, simulation, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to develop and operationalize machine-learning and AI use cases such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, quality prediction, throughput optimization, and production decision support.
  • Coordinate IT and operational technology stakeholders to establish standards for connectivity, edge processing, time-series data, asset identity, data quality, and safe production deployment.

Security, Risk & Data Governance

  • Enforce least-privilege access, segregation of duties, auditability, secure configuration, and periodic access review across ERP, integration, analytics, and AI environments.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, internal audit, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders on risk assessments, incident response, privacy, retention, and control requirements.
  • Establish governance for master data, analytical data products, AI use, model risk, and sensitive manufacturing or business information.
  • Coordinate security and architecture reviews for new integrations, cloud services, machine connections, vendors, and business initiatives.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting multi-plant ERP and Manufacturing Systems solutions.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for geographically dispersed technical professionals.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing ERP processes and leading implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Required experience integrating shop-floor machines or industrial data sources with enterprise systems and analytical platforms.
  • Required experience applying digital twins, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to manufacturing processes.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, project delivery, production support, and change control.

Technical Knowledge

  • Multi-plant manufacturing ERP architecture, configuration, security, support, integration, reporting, and release management.
  • Manufacturing, assembly, engineering, quality, supply chain, inventory, warehousing, shipping, receiving, product structures, bills of material, process routings, and standard-cost concepts.
  • Data architecture, ETL/ELT, APIs, event and streaming patterns, data quality, lineage, metadata, master data, and role-based access control.
  • Industrial integration concepts including edge gateways, industrial protocols, time-series data, equipment hierarchy, and production event models.
  • Digital-twin modeling, machine-learning lifecycle management, AI solution governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
  • Systems Development Life Cycle, process mapping, workflow and data-flow design, testing, release management, project management, and support operations.
  • Automotive EDI and related customer or supplier integration patterns.

Preferred Skills

Travel & Support Expectations

  • Ability to travel to ACG facilities to support implementations, process discovery, training, stabilization, and operational improvement.
  • Travel is expected to average approximately 30% during normal operations and may increase during major implementations.
  • After hours support for critical production-impacting ERP and Manufacturing Systems issues.
