Full Job Description
Participates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. • Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. • Contribute to the educational goals of the department. • Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes. Pharmacy Residency preferred but not required. Qualifications Education • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Experience: • Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required. • Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. Licensure/Certification • Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy. • Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire. • Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire. • Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area. Compensation/Benefits Up to $81.87/hr. based on previous work experience. • Weekday Evening differential $3.00/hr. Weekday Night differential $3.50/hr. • Weekend Day differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential) • Weekend Evening differential $6.50 • Weekend Night differential $7.00 • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement. • $20,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Available.
