Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s is a plus)
• Over 10 years of experience in hazardous waste site investigation/remediation
• Proficient in professional verbal and written communication
• Experienced in managing multiple projects, including budgeting and cost control
• Supervisory experience with technical and administrative staff
• Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in business development and client management
• Experience in due diligence, regulatory compliance, and environmental management system audits
• Knowledge of Phase I/II environmental assessments for real estate development
• Hands-on experience with site investigation/remediation under state voluntary programs and CERCLA/RCRA corrective action
• Familiarity with environmental compliance, including spill response and water/waste permitting
• Established client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage current clients and cultivate new business opportunities
• Oversee projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on technical and administrative matters
• Lead a variety of environmental projects for diverse clients, including governmental, industrial, and energy sectors
• Conduct due diligence and compliance audits to ensure regulatory adherence
• Prepare and manage Phase I/II environmental assessments for real estate development
• Develop environmental compliance frameworks and response plans.
