Job DescriptionThe Environmental Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental compliance programs across operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable environmental regulations, permits, and corporate standards while supporting sustainable operations and reducing environmental risk throughout hydrovac and related field activities.
The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leads development and execution of environmental compliance programs across operations.
- Ensures compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and corporate standards.
- Conducts environmental audits, assessments, and investigations and drives corrective actions.
- Analyzes environmental performance data and trends to support proactive risk management.
- Leverages AI tools to enhance environmental monitoring, compliance management, and reporting.
What You'll Need for Success:- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of environmental compliance or environmental management experience in industrial, utility, construction, transportation, or related environments.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, environmental permitting, waste management, stormwater compliance, and spill prevention programs.
- Experience leading environmental audits, inspections, investigations, and regulatory interactions.
- Experience with environmental data analytics or AI-enabled compliance tools preferred.The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for site visits, inspections, meetings, and training sessions.
