Full Job Description
Position Overview:

The Environmental Engineer / Project Manager will lead and manage a variety of environmental consulting projects, including site investigations, remediation programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental due diligence. This role combines technical expertise with client management, team leadership, and project delivery responsibilities.

Candidates may work from our established Clifton Park, NY office or join us as a foundational team member in Buffalo, NY as we launch our new location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental projects from proposal through completion, ensuring technical quality, budget control, and client satisfaction
  • Lead site investigation and remediation efforts, including planning, field oversight, data interpretation, and reporting
  • Oversee environmental due diligence projects (Phase I/II ESAs) and regulatory compliance programs
  • Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities for expanded services
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the New York region
