Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 10+ years of hands-on related work experience preferred.
• Experience working in a collaborative fast-paced consulting environment.
• Proficient in reviewing and interpreting geologic data for site models.
• Knowledge of borehole logging and the Unified Soil Classification System.
• Effective communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate environmental project activities in field and office settings.
• Supervise soil and groundwater site assessments.
• Manage cleanup activities for contaminated soil and groundwater.
• Oversee quality controls and decontamination procedures in the field.
• Document site closures under regulations at state and federal levels.
• Conduct risk and exposure pathway assessments.
• Develop conceptual models detailing subsurface conditions.
• Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and manuals.
• Draft proposals, cost estimates, and contracts.
• Manage and track project budgets effectively.
• Compile data and create presentations on findings.
• Mentor junior-level staff and support other duties as assigned.
