Full Job Description
In this role you will beresponsible for leading and supporting environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role partners closely with plant leadership, operations, and facility teams to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
  • Lead and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations, developing corrective and preventive actions to minimize safety and environmental risks.
  • Partner with plant leadership, operations, and facility teams to identify hazards, implement safety improvements, and promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Manage environmental compliance activities, including regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, permits, audits, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop, deliver, and monitor EHS training programs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, employee engagement, and environmental performance.

If you have/are:
  • Bachelor'sormaster's degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
  • Minimumof2yearsofexperience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or Environmental Compliance; 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of environmentalregulations,occupationalhealthandsafetystandards,riskassessmentmethodologies,andregulatorycompliancerequirements.
  • Experience conducting safetyaudits,incidentinvestigations,hazardassessments,andcorrectiveactionimplementation in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
