As an Environmental (Scientist/Engineer) Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll be a key part of project teams working to navigate today's complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our commercial, manufacturing, institutional, and solid waste clients. You'll supervise junior scientists/engineers and lead project work to provide a variety of environmental services to our clients, such as Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, subsurface investigations, quarterly/annual reporting, and soil and water remediation projects.
Working with clients, contractors, and local regulatory officials, you will have the opportunity to impact the project lifecycle - from development of a conceptual approach, through site investigation planning and implementation, and through regulatory review and the remedial process.
This role offers the opportunity to advance your career by leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and technical specialists on complex and impactful projects. You will play a key leadership role by mentoring staff-level technical professionals, fostering their professional development, and helping shape technical excellence across the organization.
