Job Description

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to work in our New York, NY office. The candidate will assist with bridge design (steel and concrete) and a variety of civil structures (retaining walls, foundations and other miscellaneous structures).  Individual will help perform structural modeling and analysis, structural calculation, load ratings, and plans production. Individual may also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
  • 0-4 year experience; previous internship experience preferred.
  • EIT is preferred.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency using Microsof Office required.
  • Desire to work in a team enviornment.
  • Driving is a requirement of the position.  A clean driving record is required.

*The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
