Full Job Description
GZA's Manhattan, New York office is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary geotechnical team. This position will be based in the Manhattan, NY office and involves local and regional travel.

The successful candidate will perform geotechnical engineering tasks with the guidance and supervision of a project manager in a collaborative environment. The candidate should be self-motivated, well organized, detail-oriented, quality-focused, safety-minded, and able to multi-task.

Our geotechnical projects involve buildings, bridges, highways, railroads, tunnels and marine and waterfront developments, water resources and dams, geo-structural analysis, soil and rock slope stabilization, automated instrumentation programs, resource evaluations, shallow and deep foundation design, earth retention design and ground improvement programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

The base salary for this position may range between $77,000 and $114,000. This position is eligible for "straight time" overtime pay. The actual base salary and total compensation will depend on many factors, including bonus eligibility, candidate experience, education, professional licensure, and other qualifications.
