Full Job Description
Katten seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Entrepreneurial Ventures practice. Current members of the practice are located in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York City.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of sophisticated corporate experience at a nationally recognized law firm with a focus on venture capital and emerging company representation. Specific experience should ideally include drafting customary investment agreements, including those based on NVCA forms, managing multi-disciplinary due diligence across a range of life science, clean technology, SaaS, AI and technology hardware and software companies, including in regulated industries, preparing governance-related board materials, including with respect to related transactions, and cap table management, including with respect to convertible securities.

Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills are required.

The estimated salary range for this role is $225,000 - $420,000. Salary determinations are based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to class and graduation year, job history, and experience within the desired practice area of the selected candidate.
