Summary:
The Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist III provides advanced logistics planning, forecasting, data analysis, and enterprise resource planning support for Army supply chain and medical logistics operations. This role analyzes ERP data and develops strategic recommendations, briefings, and planning products to support readiness, sustainment, and force projection.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Shall provide expertise in demand planning and forecasting of supplies to include Class VIII.
- Shall understand the Army Supply Chain management system at the wholesale through tactical levels.
- Shall provide expertise in demand plan forecasting, understand mathematical underpinnings of supply chain data and possess operations research capabilities.
- Shall collect data from the medical field and be able to transform the data into briefings and information papers.
- Shall obtain and analyze reports from the Decision Support Tool (DST), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and possess skills in analysis and presentations at the 4-star level. Capabilities should also include a medical logistics equipping specialties to support the AMC medical requirements and strategic requirement for the command.
- Shall provide strategic SME's analysis to support the requirements of this performance statement.
- Shall provide logistics support and sustainment IOT maintain soldier and equipment readiness by distribution, redistribution and divestiture of Army equipment.
- Shall support HQDA and Joint Staff/OSD IRT planning, forecasting, forward positioning of critical assets and power projection of forces to each theater.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Shall be knowledgeable with Army ERP systems, possess expertise in Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) functionality at wholesale through tactical levels, experience briefing at the 4-star level and understand Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Shall have functional knowledge of how Army ERPs work together and familiar with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycle and Acquisition Life Cycle planning.
- Shall have Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of the Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Army logistics, supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, or a related field.
- Experience with Army ERP systems, including Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), and Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS).
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analysis, and operations research.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting complex logistics data to senior leadership.
- Must have an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, operations research, or a related field.
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000.
