OverviewGDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an
Enterprise Integration Developer to support the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions across SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Azure, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. This role will focus on complex, high-volume integrations supporting tolling operations, customer interactions, and connected enterprise applications.
As an Enterprise Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions that connect cloud platforms, CRM systems, SAP applications, IVR technologies, and external systems. You will leverage Microsoft .NET, C#, Azure cloud services, APIs, middleware, and document management solutions to build secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations. The successful candidate will help optimize data flows, improve system interoperability, reduce unnecessary data replication, and ensure reliable information exchange across critical tolling applications. This role will also involve technical documentation, integration architecture, performance optimization, and adherence to Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission standards and procedures.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise integration solutions supporting high-volume tolling operations and interconnected business applications.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support integrations between SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Azure, IVR systems, and external platforms, including payment gateways, backend databases, toll collection systems, and traffic management systems.
- Develop and maintain enterprise integration services using C#, .NET 8+ or supported .NET Long-Term Support (LTS) versions, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, custom middleware components, reusable libraries, and integration frameworks.
- Design and implement Azure Functions using HTTP, Service Bus, timer, and blob triggers.
- Design, configure, and optimize Azure Service Bus solutions, including queues, topics, subscriptions, sessions, and dead-letter queues.
- Design and optimize IVR systems to improve tolling customer interactions, operational efficiency, and integration with CRM and backend tolling applications.
- Analyze solution components, integration models, and architectural options to support reliable, scalable, and high-volume transaction processing.
- Evaluate and implement opportunities to leverage open APIs, reduce unnecessary data replication, and streamline enterprise data flows.
- Implement JSON and XML payload transformations, data validation, and mapping to support consistent data exchange between integrated systems.
- Apply clean coding principles, SOLID design patterns, enterprise API standards, and secure coding practices.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing technical integrations, optimizing system performance, and improving the reliability of connected applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Ensure all technical documentation follows the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's required formats, templates, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and related tasks as assigned by the Commission.
Minimum Qualifications- Eight or more years of experience as a Developer or in a similar technical role, including enterprise integrations, Azure cloud solutions, IVR systems, and external system integrations, preferably within tolling projects.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrations with external systems in tolling environments, including toll collection and traffic management systems.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure government and commercial cloud platforms, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration concepts, middleware solutions, APIs, cloud hosting, and data exchange between interconnected systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ten or more years of experience developing complex enterprise integrations for high-volume organizations using SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Advanced hands-on experience with C#, .NET 8+ or supported .NET LTS versions, and ASP.NET Core Web API for enterprise integration development.
- Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, Azure Functions, custom middleware, reusable components, and shared integration libraries.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, sessions, and dead-letter queues.
- Experience designing secure REST APIs and implementing JSON/XML transformations, validation, and data mapping.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing IVR systems in tolling or similar customer-facing environments.
- Knowledge of tolling industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing, cloud-based integration architecture, and enterprise system performance optimization.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Additional education in business management or information systems.
