This position will work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to implement structured change management methodologies and best practices.
Job Description:
• Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support organizational transformation initiatives.
• Oversee configuration, change, and release management.
• Facilitate and lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to authorize or reject changes, document next steps, and ensure proper governance.
• Assess change impact and readiness across various teams and departments.
• Design and implement change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Develop and maintain standard configuration management (CM) documentation templates to enforce consistent documentation of SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and related procedures.
• Demonstrate technical writing skills to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
• Exhibit forward-thinking ability to suggest and implement change management tools, templates, and best practices to standardize change processes and governance frameworks.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Maintain the configuration baselines for applications, software, reports, and hardware associated with this task order.
• Identify potential risks and obstacles to change and develop mitigation plans to address them.
• Collaborate with leadership and project teams to align change efforts with business objectives, using the defined change management process.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Utilize Jira to capture, update, and track Change Requests throughout the development lifecycle, maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Offer process improvements for Jira Change Request tracking and visualization, including the use of custom filters, labels, dashboards, and prioritization schemes to optimize workflow and decision-making.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices in change management.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise change management principles, methodologies (e.g., ITIL), and best practices.
• Experience leading change management for complex Enterprise-scale IT systems and applications.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and assess the impact of change initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and change management software.
• Proficiency in Jira for managing Change Requests, including workflow customization and reporting.
• Technical writing skills with a track record of developing standard documentation templates.
• Experience leading Change Control Board meetings and documenting outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Change management certification (e.g., ITIL) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile change management methodologies.
• Experience using Atlassian Confluence to create, organize, and collaborate on project documentation and knowledge.
