Overview:
Overview
Supports executive leadership and Vice Presidents within the enterprise-wide analytic community, including Enterprise Analytics, Finance, and Strategy. Helps lead and coordinate major cross-functional analytics and governance initiatives in support of Sentara's top line strategic goals and Enterprise analytics divisional goals. Provides guidance across the analytic community aroundthedevelopment of key analytic models,dashboards,and strategic reporting, especially when cross-functional coordination isrequired.Takesa key role in developing and administering enterprise-level data governance functions.
Domain knowledge in the following areasispreferred. While all are not required, the ideal candidate will demonstrate understanding of the following: Data exploration & visualization techniques; statistical and non-statistical modeling and optimization for predictive and prescriptive analytics; analytic programming; database management, including the role of master data management, data quality, ETL, writing SQL, Power BI as visualization, storage processing, and cloud computing; healthcare electronic medical record systems, billing systems, imaging systems, productivity and financial systems in ambulatory, acute, and post-acute settings. Business acumen around basic finance, accounting, operations, management & marketing.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience
- 5 years of business acumen (Required)
- EPIC certification or Accreditation (Required)
- 5 years of statistical analysis experience (Preferred)
- 2 years of project management experience (Preferred)
- 5 years of analytics experience (Preferred)
- 7 years of healthcare industry experience (Required)
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $122,408.00 - $179,649.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
