This Las Vegas based Engineering Manager who is responsible for directing a defined engineering discipline and participating in the design, development and deployment of resources, tools, systems, and processes required to fulfill specific customer requirements. Interview, hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and when necessary, performance manage team members.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate development and training of engineering personnel, including setting and monitoring of individual goals.
- Responsible for performing high level engineering work and maintaining a utilization level in alignment with business targets
- Operationalize new company processes, procedures, and tools.
- Contribute to branch strategic planning and achieve expected financial results for the engineering discipline
- Coordinate resources necessary for production, including scheduling and establishing needs
- Review and approve project designs by team members
- Stay abreast of new development/releases of technology and apply to projects, processes as necessary.
- Accountable for utilization of employees within the team
- Perform annual and midyear performance reviews for employees. Establish performance goals for employees.
- Establish training plans for all employees and encourage them to keep their training up to date
- Find opportunities to interact with customers to assess how team is performing, incorporate feedback into department ways of working
- Coordinate with outsourced engineering functions to clarify scope, review costs, adhere to customer specific requirements, and perform quality control review
- Assist sales and estimating teams with project cost estimates, and sales presentations to develop a customer base through superior service and technical expertise.
- Ability to assist development and delivery of customer presentations based on sales
REQUIREMENTS:- 8+ years of experience in the Building Automation industry
- 3 + years in mentoring, or managerial role
- MUST reside in the Las Vegas area!
- Proven advanced technical knowledge of applications involving building operations, including HVAC, Automation and Security Systems.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
