OverviewEngineering Manager for the IES Engineering Group. Position is for a mid to senior level licensed professional engineer capable of performing supervisory and engineering tasks associated with pipeline and facilities engineering.
Manage direct and indirect staff for the engineering group to include Engineers and Engineer Technicians. Position is responsible for staffing and supporting IES projects across TRC offices.
Responsibilities- Supervising pipeline and facilities engineers.
- Determining client specific design requirements.
- Interpreting code and regulatory requirements.
- Recruiting engineering staff.
- Assigning engineering staff to various projects.
- Coaching/mentoring engineering staff.
- Preparing manpower cost estimates.
- Bidding support to TRC engineering projects.
- Preparing and implementing execution plans.
- Monitoring and delivering schedules, budgets and deliverables.
- Preparing action plans for project deviations.
- Offering input throughout design and implementation of all pipeline and facilities projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
- Minimum experience required is 15 years in engineering and management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Professional Engineer preferred and the ability to become licensed in multiple states.
- Requires basic communication skills; ability to communicate both orally and in writing with those within and outside of the workplace. Good interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing justifications, summaries; training users in moderately complex topics, making presentations to various audiences, and interacting positively with first level management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of maintaining frequent contact with upper management, customers, vendors, and/or internal staff to furnish and obtain information and resolve issues; typically, capable of developing and delivering effective group presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to positively interface with clients as well as all internal employees.
- Recruiting, training, mentoring abilities and team building behavior for experienced to graduate level staff.
- Innovative, looking for efficiencies and improvements.
- Billable working manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in pipeline and facilities engineering and/or operations.
- Flexibility, must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Work on Proposals and be Business Development Savvy

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
Salary RangeUSD $145,600.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
