About the Role

Lyra is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a small and nimble engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented problem-solver with a track record of successful leadership.

This role sits at the forefront of a new vertical for Lyra: serving health plans and health systems. You'll also work closely with our Bend Health platform, which extends Lyra's care to children, teens, and families - including new complex care offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Be a hands-on technical leader, guiding a small and nimble engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying core product functionality.
  • Manage, scale and develop the team.
  • Collaborate with key partners including product, data and behavioral health specialists.
  • Ensure that best practices are adhered to during all phases of software development and deployment.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest quality and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies - particularly agentic development and LLMs - and experience applying them to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation.
  • Prior startup experience.

$161,000 - $221,500 a year

As a full-time Engineering Manager, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000 to $221,500. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
