The RoleWe're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed team of 4 - 6 engineers building the products landlords and property managers use to work with TheGuarantors.
The Landlord Experience team owns key self-service experiences across the Landlord Portal, including application tracking, renter invitations, lease details, and onboarding, with expanding capabilities in renewals and landlord payments.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management. You will guide architecture, review designs and code, and selectively implement solutions to unblock the team. You will multiply the team's effectiveness through sound technical decisions, better engineering practices, and coaching that helps engineers take greater ownership.
Our stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js, NestJS, Go, REST and GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS. Experience with several of these technologies is valuable, as is experience modernizing legacy systems or building self-service products.
