As an Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering activities that drive the design, development, and optimization of machining processes and products in an automated manufacturing environment. You will guide a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions, collaborating across functions to meet project objectives and advance operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Leads and mentors engineering team members, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals and schedules.
- Oversees the design and development of machining processes and products in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates with internal and external cross-functional teams to integrate engineering solutions seamlessly.
- Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
- Implements and maintains quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stays current with industry trends and machining technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 10 years of experience in machining/manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and technologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Proficiency with MasterCAM and Vericut.
- Understanding of Development Integrated Master Schedules.
